Onions are  cool season vegetables that grow best at temperatures of 12 to 24 °C . Their taste is wonderful when they are cooked in the right way . Medditeranean salads contain onions . Onions are low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. It is also a good source of dietary fiber, Vitamin B6, folate, potassium and manganese, and a very good source of Vitamin C.You can easily add onions in your salad or cook them with some olive oil .
